Time to give the concept a face!
Hello, my name is Lucy Ebs and I am the owner of Spotlight Studios and the founder of the Red Bus Company.
Even as a child, I loved dancing and performing. Whether it was a jingle on TV or music in the supermarket, the world was my stage. I lived for my dance lessons and later as a young adult went full time to Hammond School in Chester UK to study musical theater.
After graduating with a grade 1, I was lucky enough to be discovered and get opportunities all over the world in high quality musicals such as 42nd Street, Mamma Mia, Little Shop of Horrors, Beauty and the Beast, Jack and the Beanstalk, cruise ships and international freelance jobs.
Since retiring from performing on stage, I decided it was time to give something back by teaching and sharing my enthusiasm and love of the performing arts with children and other adults.
I am a qualified dance teacher and also a trained educator with over 13 years experience in bilingual kindergartens here in Stuttgart. I firmly believe that anyone can be on stage, no matter what age, you just have to be brave enough to give it a go. I want to share this passion with all ages and maybe I can reach you too.
Dance and performing arts have opened so many doors for me-they have brought me lifelong friendships, professional opportunities, performance opportunities, worldwide travel, education, emotional growth, valuable lessons, and the incredible experience of building a loving family for which I am forever grateful.
